+++ORURU+++

No matter how tall an okra grows,

It is never too long for the owner to, bend it, and pluck it...

Hahahahahaha... Ukpo!

Oruru, even you?

Even you who they say the White man has taught to hold spoon on the left & knife on the right, like a masquerade chasing a teaser, when eating our own akpu and egusi delicacy?

You, who it is rumoured, chews white man's grammar like oil and cocoyam?

You, Oruru?....

Ukpo!

My eyes have seen my ears...

When Papa told me that our juju could drag a man from the white man's land back home,

You know me, I told him he lied

I repeated that thrice!

But you have shocked me Oruru... Ukpo!

I was told that in the tradition you embraced,

A man holds his manhood in one direction alone, till he dies...

Didn't you hear that too Oruru?

Awajionyi is your third wife

Yet you go for another,

My envy for you is gone Oruru...

An African indeed you are..

Uuukpo!!!
